Edgbaston Cricket Ground redevelopment - February update II
Work continues rapidly on the redevelopment of Edgbaston Cricket Ground since my earier updates, Edgbaston Cricket Ground redevelopment - February update, with work also moving rapidly to secure a sponsor a sponsor for the new £32 million Pavilion End complex, Sponsor sought for new development at Edgbaston cricket ground.
Due to the publicity the new stadium will attract when it opens and it's hosting of international cricket, such as it's opening game of England versus India, the name of the sponsor is likely to be much publicised.
Photos of the site are shown below from Monday 7th February 2011 with work preparing the erection of the 5th floodlight visible.
Meanwhile across the road, work on the new Aldi store is nearly reaching it's conclusion as shown in the photos below (also from Monday 7th February 2011).
